Haunt Tech Assistant

Do you like fog machines, flashing lights, compressed air, and controlled chaos? Stalker Farms is a high-tech haunted attraction driven by animatronics, pneumatics, DMX lighting, and explosive special effects. We're looking for a hands-on Assistant Haunt Technician to help build the fear and keep it running all night long.
What You'll Do Install and wire up lighting, sound, air systems, animatronics, and special effects. Power up and test the show before guests arrive. Quickly troubleshoot issues when something misfires, freezes, or goes dark. Monitor fog, lighting, audio, and pneumatic effects during operation. Shut down, repair, reset... and do it again the next night. What You Bring Working knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and DMX systems. Strong troubleshooting instincts under pressure. Experience in theater tech, live events, or haunt builds (bonus points). Ability to work nights, outdoors, and high-intensity environments. Why Join the Team? Makeup Director

The Makeup Director is a pivotal role in bringing our haunted attraction to life by designing and executing character-driven makeup looks. Working closely with the Creative and Costume Directors, this role ensures every actor’s appearance aligns with the overall theme, storyline, and environment of the attraction.
This position leads a team of makeup artists, oversees nightly operations, and maintains a high standard of quality, safety, and consistency. The Makeup Director is responsible for creating an organized workflow, from pre-season planning and training to live event management, ensuring every artists and actors are supported. What You’ll Do Design and implement creative, high-quality makeup looks for all characters. Lead, schedule, and manage a team of makeup artists. Coordinate with Costume, Talent, and Performance Management teams on timing and logistics. Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic makeup environment. Manage inventory, order supplies, and track seasonal usage. Provide mentorship and guidance on makeup techniques, including SFX and prosthetics. Remain on-site during events for touch-ups and troubleshooting. Ensure consistency in makeup design across all performances. What You Bring Strong communication and leadership skills. Ability to collaborate across multiple departments. Excellent organization and time management. Proactive problem-solving and adaptability in fast-paced environments. Experience planning, scheduling, and managing team workflows. Knowledge of sanitation, safety, and skin sensitivity practices. Experience in special effects (SFX) makeup for theater, film, or haunted attractions. Proficiency in airbrush techniques, prosthetics, and traditional makeup application. Experience leading or supervising a team preferred. Familiarity with inventory management and scheduling tools. Passion for horror, immersive storytelling, and live entertainment. Why Join The Team? Build Director

Do you love building things that make people scream? The Build Director is responsible for transforming creative concepts into a fully realized attraction. From set construction to in-season fixes, you’ll lead the charge in creating safe, detailed, and terrifyingly fun experiences for thousands of guests.
The Build Director oversees the construction and maintenance of sets, props, and scenes at Stalker Farms. This role works closely with the Creative Director and manages a small team of builders. This role is responsible for projects being completed safely, on time, and within creative vision. What You’ll Do Lead construction of sets, props, and themed environments. Source materials and manage build timelines. Maintain and repair attractions throughout the season. Delegate tasks and support build team members. Collaborate with Technical Director on lighting, sound, and effects. Coordinate with Farm Operations and other departments. What You Bring Strong communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Problem-solving mindset with proactive decision-making. Solid time management and ability to prioritize tasks. Strong planning and organizational skills. Basic proficiency with computers and standard software (documents, spreadsheets). Ability to lead, delegate, and support a team. Initiative to improve processes and work efficiently with available resources. Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and enforcing safety standards. Willingness to learn and stay current with industry trends. Hands-on experience in construction, set building, or a related field. Ability to safely operate power tools and equipment.
